Shoulder
Shoulder problems are common. It can be seen that about 10% of those under 50 years of age have problems with their shoulders and if you are older than that, that number increases. The problems can be local in the shoulder, often you have pain in the front of the shoulder or the pain can radiate down the arm. The cause of the problems can be local in the shoulder or come from, for example, the neck or thoracic spine. Here is our first challenge, to locate where the pain is coming from.
Examples of risk factors for shoulder problems include work with raised arms, heavy physical work, high-repetitive, lighter work with the arms, and balance in strength in the shoulder muscles.
