For over 20 years, we have worked with orthopedic problems. Gradually, we have further trained in OMT, sports medicine and ultrasound diagnostics. We are also one of the few in Sweden that performs ultrasound-guided injections (trained in England). Our solid experience and competence means that we can take good care of you from diagnosis to treatment.

ULTRASOUND DIAGNOSTICS

Why ultrasound diagnostics?

Musculoskeletal (Msk) ultrasound scan is a radiological examination method to primarily examine the soft parts of the body, such as e.g. muscles, tendons, ligaments, mucous membranes, vessels and nerves.

ULTRASOUND GUIDED INJECTION

Ultrasound-guided injection means that we combine the benefits of ultrasound diagnostics and injections. Once we have identified the affected area with the ultrasound, we enter with the needle. In real time, we can then see the needle and guide it into the right area before the preparation is injected.

Why shockwave therapy?

We at Alta Vita Fysioterapi use shockwave treatment or also called shockwave, which is an effective treatment method against a number of injuries and problems, especially in muscle and tendon structures.
