HIP
Hip pain is common and can affect walking, exercise and everyday movements. The pain is often localized around the hip, groin or outside of the hip, but can also radiate down to the thigh or knee.
The cause may lie in the hip itself, but the discomfort can also be affected by the lower back, pelvis, knee or load patterns. An important part of the examination is therefore to localize where the pain is coming from.
Common risk factors are heavy or one-sided load, a lot of sitting, previous injuries, and reduced strength, mobility, or control in the hip, trunk, and leg muscles.
