Knee

Knee problems are common. It can be seen that a large part of the population suffers from knee problems at some point, and the problems often become more common with increasing age. The problems can be local in the knee, often with pain on the front, inside or outside of the knee, but the pain can also radiate up towards the thigh or down towards the lower leg. The cause of the problems can be local in the knee or come from, for example, the hip, foot, ankle or lower back. Here is our first challenge, to locate where the pain is coming from.

Examples of risk factors for knee problems include heavy physical work, a lot of walking up stairs, kneeling work, high loads during sports or exercise, previous injuries, and imbalances in strength and control in the hip, thigh, and lower leg muscles.
