SHOULDER

Shoulder problems are common. You can see that about 10% of those under 50 have problems with the shoulder and if you are older than that, that number increases. The problems can be local in the shoulder, often you have pain in the front shoulder or the pain can radiate down into the arm. The cause of the problems can be found locally in the shoulder or come from eg the neck or thoracic spine. Here is our first challenge, to locate where the pain comes from.

Examples of risk factors for shoulder problems are work with lifting arms, heavy physical work, highly repetitive light work with the arms and balance in strength in the shoulder / shoulder muscles.
